Liverpool’s Town Hall is a grade I listed building situated on High Street in the city centre.
According to the authors of Buildings of England, Liverpool’s Towln Hall is “probably the grandest …suite of civic rooms in the country.
It was built between 1749 and 1754, and inside you can find things from golden pineapples to a goddess of wisdom. Its staircase hall has a decorated sculptural dome, with four clocks, lions and unicorns.
Many important events have been held in Liverpool’s Town Hall, including an iconic welcoming for The Beatles on the buildings front balcony.
