Two of Liverpool’s most loved landmarks, the Liver Buildings and the Lambanana are combined in this gorgeous print by a local Liverpool artist Tula Moon.
This amazingly colourful print combines one of Liverpool’s old landmarks with the new.
The Liver Building was opened in 1911, home to the Liver Birds, one looking out to sea and one looking over the city, legend has it for protection.
It is 322ft tall, built with reinforced concrete making the Liver Buildings one of the first in the world to make use of this material.
The Lambanana however is a much more recent addition to the city, with 125 sculptures dotted around the city after winning the 2008 Capital of Culture award.
