The iconic Albert Dock looks stunning on this placemat and the Anglican Cathedral in the background really adds to the print.

About the Albert Dock:

The Albert Dock is comprised of Liverpool dock buildings and warehouses. It was designed by Jesse Hartley and Phillip Hardwick and opened in 1846 by the Prince, husband of Queen Victoria. The Albert Dock was the first structure in Britain to be built with no structural wood, resulting in it being the first non-combustible system in the world. Many valuable cargoes came into the Albert Dock containing tobacco, ivory, sugar, tea and silk. Re-development of the Albert Dock began in 1981 and and officially re-opened in 1984. The Albert Dock features the largest collection of Grade 1 listed buildings in the country which are put in use for Liverpool’s Maritime Museum, the Tate Art Gallery and more. It is the number one tourist attraction in the City, seeing over 4 million visitors a year.
