Liverpool’s Irish Festival Arrives
The Liverpool Irish Festival returns this week and promises to be bigger than ever. Now in it’s 12th year, the successful festival promises ten days of music, food and drink, exhibitions, and lots of tours and talks.
The festival will be showing the English premiere of Seamus Heaney’s final animated work, along with the first Liverpool Irish Football Cup. There’s an impressive music programme, which will be headlined by The Gloaming and a host of other Irish bands.
With a wealth of events on offer, the festival will be split across many areas of the city including the Palm House, St. George’s Hall, FACT and The Bluecoat.
