LIMF fringe festival
We all had a great time last weekend at the Liverpool International Music Festival and ended up wandering down to the park on each of the four days. The lovely weather on Sunday and Monday certainly lifted the mood and we loved the range of music that was on offer. Our main highlight was the Liverpool Philharmonic who played on Friday evening and were followed by a spectacular firework show.
We also loved seeing Damian Marley on Sunday evening and it seemed a big part of the city agreed, with the park playing host to over 50,000 people in just for one day! This year’s offering was a lot better than the previous Matthew Street Festival and we can’t wait for it to swing around next summer.
If you’re not ready for all the fun to end just yet, you’re in luck as the LIMF Fringe festival continues until the 22nd September. If you’re looking for some fun this Friday, then head to the Kirkdale free music festival from 2-7pm. There will be a line up of local talent, as well as lots of activities for the whole family.
